Since 2018 Neova has been developing animal feed products for customers looking for new feed materials improving animal wellbeing. Our strength lies in the pure, unique raw materials made by Nordic nature and the deep knowhow of our raw materials and processes. Our first product, animal feed peat pellet improves growth of piglets and increases good microbiota as it is a source of unique humics substances, fibers and bioactive molecules. Animal feed peat pellet is on go-to-market phase with our strategic partner Hankkija (part of Danish Agro).
In addition to animal feed pellets, development of next new animal feed products like animal feed humate is now ongoing. We collaborate with international external R&D partners and own development laboratory in connection with the University of Jyväskylä.
Our mission is to create sustainable value and security of supply for the essentials of life where it matters the most while constantly using fewer natural resources.

Would you like to join to the growth journey of new products creating animal welfare? Bring your experience from animal feed industry and feed development to our team and create sustainable value for customers and new growth for Neova.
As our new Product Portfolio Manager in our animal feed business area, you will have a versatile role, bringing customer insight and market trends to our R&D, expanding our partner network and innovating the animal feed landscape.
You are the link between our customers and the R&D functions both in-house and at our joint development partners. Our customers include animal feed producers and distributors and to them, your role could be described as a true business partner and a technical advisor. With our R&D team, you are strongly involved in innovation and product development. While it is beneficial to have prior experience from veterinary sciences or commercial laboratories for example, the core focus of your role is on commercial insight and product development. You will work closely with our animal feed business manager and will report directly to the Business Area Director.
You have robust experience in topics such as identifying and crafting value propositions and building product portfolios. We value academic experience and publication writing skills, but we also strongly value your business experience. Your education does not need to be specifically from animal physiology, but the key ingredient for success is experience and understanding of the animal feed industry, especially from product development, market analysis or customer engagement side.
First and foremost, we are looking for someone who has established their place in the animal feed industry with existing connections and the capability to network with stakeholders on a global scale.
We expect you to have excellent communication and presenting skills in English so that you are able to convey our message in a concise and convincing manner to all stakeholders from boardrooms to commercial industry events both in written presentations and speaking engagements.
As we are targeting international market growth, you can be located in the Netherlands, Finland, Italy or Spain. Depending on your location, the amount of travel can vary, but expect to be travelling on average twice per month. As continental Europe will be our main market area, it would be beneficial to have prior experience and knowledge about EU-legislation and regulatory processes in the animal feed industry. Familiarity and/or interest in the Asian market is considered as an advantage. While we are initially launching our new product as pig feed, we intend to expand our offerings to other animal groups and it is an advantage to be familiar with, for example, commercial poultry or fish farming.
We expect you share our values about sustainability, that you are enthusiastic about the commercial potential of our products and have the desire and drive to grow with us. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys a truly international working environment, loves to engage with the sharpest minds of our industry in all settings and wants to leave their own mark on our business and the world of animal feed as a whole.
Do not hesitate to ask questions and if our proposal has raised even a hint of interest, please get in touch with us as soon as possible; we intend to fill the position once the right candidate has been found and ideally, you would be able to start during Q1/2025.
